Aqua Lemuria is a blue glassy material with a hardness of 5 to 5.5 on the Moh Scale. Its crystal system is amorphous, and its origin is in the mountains of Sumatra, Indonesia, and the locals consider it as a variety of Obsidian.
Its name is derived from its color, as well as the intuitive association of the material with the legend of Lemuria and Mu. The shades of Aqua Lemuria vary from pale blue to deep blue-green, and some have abundant suspended gas bubbles, while others contain inclusions of small stones or other debris…
