Description

This commentary unravels mysteries that surround famed Russian occultist H. P. Blavatsky and her mammoth classic, The Secret Doctrine. She was called an “adventurous” in an age when women’s activities were restricted. She traveled the world alone, daring to attack prevailing religious, philosophical, and scientific orthodoxy, and demonstrating her startling psychic powers. Others called her the greatest occultist in the history of Western civilization.

Her greatest work, the 2282-page Secret Doctrine, has earned astonished respect from such prominent scientists as Einstein and Thomas Edison, as well as many great religious leaders.

This new enlarged Quest edition features commentaries by many eminent writers on H. P. Blavatsky’s contribution to world thought.
