Labradorite is a plagioclase feldspar with a triclinic crystal structure and a hardness of 6 to 6.5 on the Mohs scale. It is treasured for its remarkable play of color (labradorescence), which shows vivid flashes of green, blue, gold, orange, red and sometime violet. It is found mostly in Canada, Madagascar.

Specimens vary in shape, size (usually 1.0 to 1.5 inches) in length, color intensity. Comes in an organza bag with a descriptor card detailing its metaphysical properties.
