Larimar Atlantis Stone, a rare stone.  found in the Caribbean Sea near the Dominican Republic. It is also called the Dolphine Stone, and is known for embodying the cooling energies of the sea and sky. This smooth stone showcases a vibrant blue hue with striking white web-like patterns resembling light reflecting off shallow ocean waters. Its surface is polished, enhancing its natural translucence and it shows a beautiful chatoyance in the light. Considered the premier stone for soothing "fiery" emotions such as anger and or frustration. Larimar is a form of blue Pectolite, a sodium calcium silicate mineral with a hardness of 4.5 to 5 on the Mohs scale. It displays dramatic patterns of blue, blue-green and white. It harmonizes especially well with Lapis Lazuli, Azeztulite, Moldavite, Turquoise and Chrysocolla. Origin: Dominican Republic. Size: 1 to 1.5 inches, Weight: 0.0438 Lbs. Specimen can vary in size and color intensity. This stone has been saged and comes in a velvet pouch with a descriptor card detailing its metaphysical properties.
