The Celtic and Norse tribes of Northern Europe had a profound impact on the ancient and medieval history of Sweden, Norway, Finland, the British Isles, Baltic States, Spain and France. 

Most written evidence of the early Celts ciomes from Greco-Roman writers who often groupd the Celts as barbarian tribes. The Celts had an elaborate religion overseen by their priests, the Druids. 

Viking is the modern name given to seafaring people primarily from the Scandinavian region of Northern Europe. Who from the late 8th to the late 11th centuries raided, pirated, traded and settled throughout parts of Middle Europe. They also voyaged as far as the Mediterraean, North Aftica, the MIddle East and North America.
