Templar & Masons

The connection between medieval Knights Templar and modern day Freemasonry is one of history's most enduring mystery, existing betweem documented record and the romanticsm of the late 19th century. While the Templars were officially suppressed on Friday the 13th, 1312, the destruction was not complete and many got away. Masonic tradition has it that remnants of the order went underground, especially in Scotland and in the New World, eventually resurfacing and influencing the riuals and moral philosophy of Freemasonry.
