 Born Daniel Chennevière in 1895- Dane was a pioneering French-born American composer, painter, and author who emigrated to the United States in 1916. He is best known for revolutionizing astrology by blending it with Carl Jung's analytical psychology and Eastern philosophy to create "humanistic astrology," transforming it from a tool of fatalistic prediction into a blueprint for personal growth and psychological transformation.
Moved to California in 1920 to join the Theosophical Society headquarters in Krotona, blending Eastern philosophy, occultism, and psychology. Authored groundbreaking works like The Astrology of Personality (1936), shifting astrology away from fatalism toward personal and psychological transformation.
