Details:

Howlite is a borate mineral found in sedimentary rock. Its structure is monoclinic with a Mohs hardness of 3.5 and lacks regular cleavage. Crystals are very rare appearing brown and are prismatic and flattened on the elongated side.  It was first discovered in Canada in 1868 by Henry How, a Canadian chemist, mineralogist and geologist.

Origin: Found primarily in USA and Mexico. These stones are also found in Turkey, Germany, Russia, Serbia and Slovakia, Pakistan and Nemibia. 

Size: 0.8 inch to 1.15-inches, Weight: 0.0250 Lbs. Specimen can vary in size and color intensity. This stone has been saged and comes in a velvet pouch with a descriptor card detailing its metaphysical properties.
