Sodalite is a chloric sodium alunminum silicate with an isometric crystal system with a hardness of 5.5 to 6.0 on the Mohs scale. The stone is named after the sodium conent in the stone.

Origin: From Brazil. The largest deposit comes from Bahia,  Brazil.

Size: 0.8 inch to 3.0 -inches, Weight: 0.0250 Lbs. Specimen can vary in size and color intensity. This stone has been saged and comes in a velvet pouch with a descriptor card detailing its metaphysical properties.
