Sine its inception in 1875, Theosophy plays a significant role in bringing Esoteric Knowledge and eastern philosophies to the West. Many prominent artists, writers and scientists were and are influenced by Theosophical teachings. Theosophical ideas have inspired over 100 esoteric movements among them Anthroposophy and the New Age.
